Montague continued its hold on second place in the West Michigan
Conference at Wednesday's jamboree in Ludington, coming in with 658.34
points - 20.26 points behind leader Hart.
Whitehall finished
fifth with 591.8 points, but would've been in third place but for 13
penalty points it was assessed in its round three routine.
As
they have been all year, the Wildcats were terrific in round three, with
a score of 278.2 points, most of any team, but not enough to make up
the nearly 30-point gap Hart had built up over the first two rounds.
The
Vikings' best round was the second, where they scored 174 points, which
pushed them into third place going into round three. However, the
penalty points knocked their final round score down to 223.9 points.
