Montague wrestling goes 2-0 at N. Muskegon Quad

Montague went 2-0 Wednesday at the North Muskegon Quad, defeating Oakridge 63-16 and edging the host Norsemen 42-41. The Wildcats end the regular season with a 19-7 record in duals.
Montague wrestlers to go 2-0 were Zaniya Meza, Gibson Sholes, Gavyn Maddox, Fletcher Thommen, Michael Jones,  Clay Jordan, Issac French, and Anthony Hayt.
"I’m really proud of the team the last few weeks," Montague coach Kris Maddox said. "We have some kids out with illness or injury and have had to move some guys around to fill in the holes. The kids have bought into a team-first mentality and selfless wrestling."
