Reeths-Puffer knocked off Grandville Thursday in a non-conference dual match, 6-3.
The Rockets won four of the five doubles matches played, including three close wins in third-set tiebreakers. Lauren Matz/Elana Weiden and Maddie Hutchinson/Emma Dvorak rebounded from losing the first set of their matches to earn doubles victories, and Makayla Smith/Jayla Brink won a very close match at No. 4 doubles, 7-6(3), 2-6, 11-9. Gabrielle Borgeson/Malania Eilers cruised to a straight-set win at No. 1 doubles.
In singles play, Hope Latsch also bounced back from a first-set defeat to win in three, 3-6, 6-2, 10-8, while Molly Matz earned an easy straight-set win.
