Whitehall finished fourth in a fierce battle for the top four spots at Wednesday's Orchard View jamboree, shooting a 172.
The
Vikings ended up only five strokes behind Manistee and Fremont, who
tied for first place, and four behind Ludington. Montague shot a 184 and
finished fifth.
Brady Tate had a strong day for Whitehall,
shooting a 40 and taking third individually. He finished strong, with a
birdie on his final hole. Jones McDowell shot a 43, Royce Freed posted a
44, and Finn Novy had a 45. McDowell and Freed also scored birdies
during their rounds.
Brayden Bultema and Maxwell Welch tied
for Montague's top scoring honors, each shooting a 45. Tanner Devries
had a 46, and Bucky Aney had a 48.
