Whitehall swept Ludington Tuesday in a West Michigan Conference Lakes doubleheader, 9-2 and 8-5.
Peyton Schultz led an explosive Viking offense - the team racked up five runs in the third inning - in game one with two doubles and four RBI. Janie Fagan scored three runs. In the circle, Megan LeaTrea allowed only one earned run on five hits. She struck out nine.
Whitehall scored in each of the first six innings of game two. Bella Fogus got two hits and four other Vikings got one apiece. LeaTrea and Fogus split the game in the circle, and Fogus fired four shutout innings. She struck out four and allowed four hits.
