Whitehall lost a doubleheader at Sparta Friday by scores of 8-5 and 19-0.
Annabel Kevwitch smacked a two-run home run in the first inning, giving the Vikings (2-5) an early lead, before Sparta struck back with consecutive three-run frames. Whitehall loaded the bases in the final inning with nobody out but was unable to cash in the scoring opportunity.
Megan LeaTrea had three hits for Whitehall in the opener.
In game two, Spartan pitcher Taliya Dauser threw a three-inning perfect game.
