Whitehall overwhelmed Fremont Wednesday in Coastal Conference action, taking an 8-0 victory.
Seven of the Vikings' eight wins came in straight sets, and five of those seven saw the winning flight allow no more than two set points.
Most dominant were singles players Brianna Bentz and Riley Shafer, who won at the No. 2 and No. 4 flights respectively while allowing only one set point apiece. The top two doubles pairs, Izzy Gould/Alivia DeWildt and Addie Broton/Avarie Bentz, also allowed only one set point each.
Grace McDowell picked up a 6-1, 6-1 victory, and Emily VanDam/Braelee Fogus won their doubles match 6-3, 6-2.
Akeelah Martin, at No. 1 singles, and No. 4 doubles pair Ella Sumerix/Delaney Konecny also picked up wins to cap off Whitehall's success.
