Whitehall and Unity Christian played to a competitive 4-4 tie
Thursday afternoon, with the Vikings' lower singles flights and top
doubles flights earning wins.
The top two doubles flights were
impressive in straight-set triumphs; Brianna Bentz/Avarie Bentz earned a
6-2, 6-0 win, and Alivia DeWildt/Addie Broton won by a 6-3, 6-4 score.
The
Vikings' Izzy Gould and Riley Shafer also scored straight-set wins at
the No. 3 and No. 4 singles flights respectively; Gould won 6-4, 6-1,
and Shafer won 6-2, 6-3.
